The Clean Truck Check program commonly referred to as the Heavy-Duty Smog Check program will require fleet operators to periodically test a truck's emission control system starting July 1\, 2024. CARB requires any vehicles over 14\,000 pounds to register in the Clean Truck Check database and pay a $30 fee by January 31\, 2024. If you do not register and pay the fee\, California registered vehicles will receive a registration hold with the DMV. Out-of-state based registered vehicles must fulfill these requirements before entering the state or may face penalties for not registering and paying the compliance fee.The CARB staff will review the Clean Truck Check Program periodic testing requirements and will take questions and answers through out the webinar.This event is free to members.
