Instructions

Please follow the oﬃcial calculation methodology approved by the CTA Board of Directors to determine each company’s power unit count for the CTA membership investment.

Your membership investment includes a one-time $100 unit fee as well as the annual CTA Legal Fund(mandatory investment that provides ﬁnancial resources that can supplement litigation, legal analysis and other legal related items that are aﬀecting the trucking industry).If your company is a non-asset carrier (freight broker, logistics carrier or 3PL) disregard the calculation and see section 2.

Section 1: Equipment Information (Class 7 and 8 Trucks)

A. How many California registered trucks (CA License Plate) are owned, leased, rented, and operated by your company? Equals #A

Interstate Operations (Class 7 and 8 Trucks)

B. For trucks registered outside of CA (Non-CA License Plate) that participate in the IRP (International Registration Plan),please provide the number of trucks based, operated, and apportioned to California by completing the following calculation:# of trucks in IRP Program ________ multiplied by _________ % of CA-operated miles. Equals # B

C. Add the number of trucks on lines A and B above to determine your power unit count and the annual membership investment.

Section 2: Freight Broker, Logistics Carrier, (3PL), and Non-Asset Carrier dues investment is $1,295.60 annually
